Lookman has been linked with a move away from the Bergamo club with a number of teams including Napoli, Juventus, Barcelona and Arsenal reportedly interested in his services. Juric has however expressed his desire to see that the forward stay with the club.
The former Southampton coach, quoted by Calcio Napoli, said he had no intentions on selling Lookman as he hasn’t made request to the board in the players.
βThe idea would be to keep both Lookman and Ederson, even if the club has clear ideas on the market and I have not made any request on players, not even on those I have had.β
Lookman was in good form for Atalanta last season, registering 22 goals and 5 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.
The 27-year-old has one-year left on his contract with La Dea, and is yet to seen if he will be offered a new contract.
