Juventus back in talks with Victor Osimhen’s representatives

Nigeria national team star forward Victor Osimhen has reportedly resumed talks with Italian side Juventus according to La Gazetta Dello Sport.

The Old Lady are reportedly looking to bolster their squad with three new signings ahead of the 2025/26 season. Osimhen is claimed to be Juventus’ number one choice to boost the club's attack after a disappointing fourth place finish in Italy's Serie A. The Nigerian rejected Igor Tudor’s side earlier in the summer.

But Juventus have reportedly resumed talks with Osimhen's representatives in recent days. The Bianconeri will need to negotiate a transfer fee with Napoli as the €75 million release clause in the striker’s contract is only for club’s outside Italy.

Also, Al-Hilal remain keen on luring Osimhen to Saudi Arabia while Fenerbahce are also desperate to sign him on a permanent transfer. The club Osimhen was on loan at this past season, Fenerbahce's rivals Galatasaray, also still believe they are in with a chance to land the Super Eagle on a permanent basis.

Osimhen's future is yet to be decided as he is on high demand after a successful loan deal with Galatasaray, sweeping a hat-trick of awards from Player of the Season to being the Turkish Super Lig's top scorer and even winning Goal of the Season in the league.
