Rising Malawian striker Rose Kadzere scored twice for Montpellier Women as they shared the spoils at 2-2 with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Women in France on Saturday.
The Division 1 Feminine match saw two teams on contrasting missions, PSG chasing the title and Montpellier fighting for survival.
It was PSG who made their intent clear as they scored through French forward Romee Leuchter early in the first half before Kadzere responded in the 28th minute.
The Malawian made it 2-1 shortly after the restart, only for PSG to level matters through midfielder Jackie Groenen and force a draw.
The result left Montpellier stuck in the relegation zone, lying 10th from the bottom of the 12-member log table.
Montpellier sits 20 points adrift of leaders Lyon. Malawi captain Tabitha Chawinga is on the books of the pacesetters.
PSG moved to within two points of Lyon, who have a game in hand.
