Kamaldeen Sulemana scores to power Atalanta into Coppa Italia semis

Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana was on song, registering a goal as Atalanta cruised to a 3-0 victory over giants Juventus in the Coppa Italia semifinals in Bergamo.

The Goddess shot ahead through Gianluca Scamacca who converted from the penalty spot with just 27 minutes played at the New Balance Arena.

Kamaldeen Sulemana, who joined the fray in the 71st minute made his presence felt quickly scoring Atalanta’s second in the 77 minutes following an assist from Raoul Bellanova.

The 2024 Europa League winners struck the final nail into Juventus’ coffin five minutes to end the game with Mario Pasalic’ third to send Atlanata into the finals.

Kamaldeen Sulemana, 23, has played 16 games with two goals scored so far this campaign. Atalanta will now turn attention to the Serie A when they host Cremonese on Monday, February 9.
