Tusker striker Eric Kapaito has promised the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) trophies after he made a return to the club on a one-year renewable contract.
The Ruaraka-based club announced the return of Kapaito, who left the club at the end of the 2023-24 season, having scored 12 goals to help the team do well in the domestic season.
“Tusker FC is home and I feel that I have returned to a place where I felt comfortable, happy and loved,” said Kapaito after the unveiling ceremony.
“I have a deep connection with this club and the fans, and I’m hungry to help bring more trophies to this great team. I’m back, focused, and ready to give my all.”
The two-time FKF Premier League Golden Boot winner rejoins the club after a stint in Tanzania, bringing with him not only experience but a lethal scoring instinct that made him a fan favorite before his departure last season.
His arrival got coach Charles Okere excited by saying: “Eric (Kapaito) brings a lot to this team goals, leadership, and a winning mentality.
“He knows our system, and his experience will be vital both on and off the pitch. Last season we struggled a bit in the second leg because we didn’t have enough firepower upfront and his return gives us that cushion.”
His return signals a major boost for the club’s attacking force as they look to reclaim domestic dominance and make a stronger impact on the continental stage.
