KCCA FC have officially renewed their partnership with CHINT Uganda as the principal shirt sponsor and official lighting partner for the 2025/26 season.
The renewed deal, which runs for one year, includes both financial support and continued maintenance of the state-of-the-art floodlights at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The collaboration between KCCA FC and CHINT Uganda began in 2022 and was originally set to run until 2025. During this period, CHINT played a pivotal role in introducing night football at MTN Omondi Stadium an innovation that has since transformed the matchday experience for fans and players alike.
A global leader in smart energy solutions, CHINT has been operating in Uganda since 2005 and has consistently ranked among China’s Top 500 enterprises for over two decades. The company’s presence in over 140 countries underscores its global reputation and reliability.
Under the initial partnership, CHINT fulfilled its promise by installing and maintaining world-class floodlights at the stadium, allowing KCCA to stage night matches from the second round of the 2022/23 season onward.
Speaking about the extension, KCCA FC Chairman Eng. Sserunjogi Andrew Mukiibi expressed gratitude for CHINT Uganda’s continued trust and investment in the club.
“The renewal of our partnership with CHINT Uganda for the 2025/26 season reflects a strong and lasting relationship between two forward-thinking brands. CHINT’s commitment not only boosts us financially but also ensures MTN Omondi Stadium continues to shine as a hub for night football and an enhanced fan experience,”
said Eng. Mukiibi.
Ms. Shi Jiane Namutebi, founder and CEO of CHINT Uganda, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to supporting Ugandan football and expanding its footprint across the country.
