Uganda Premier League heavyweights KCCA FC are lining up a move for talented winger Rogers Mugisha from Kitara FC.

Mugisha, who joined Kitara FC last season after a stint with Danish second division side AC Horsens, could be set for another reunion with head coach Brian Ssenyondo, the man who previously coached him at UPDF FC.
Should the deal go through, it would mark the second time Mugisha and Ssenyondo link up at club level, following their productive spell together in the army side’s setup.
The pacey winger has steadily risen through Uganda’s football ranks, having featured prominently for both the national U17 and U20 sides. Notably, he was among the standout performers for the Uganda Hippos at the 2023 AFCON U20 tournament in Egypt.
KCCA FC are actively rebuilding their squad under Ssenyondo’s guidance, having already secured the signings of Lazaro Bwambale and Ivan Ahimbisibwe both of whom also have past connections with the coach.
After finishing fifth in the league last season and falling short in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final against Vipers SC, the Kasasiro Boys are eager to restore their former glory, with Mugisha seen as a key addition in that mission.
