The ongoing works form part of the project’s second phase, which was officially launched on Friday, February 9, 2024.
This phase is a key milestone in the club’s broader plan to modernize its iconic home ground to meet contemporary football standards.
According to the club, the construction is expected to be completed by the end of November 2025, paving the way for the stadium to host matches in a more advanced, fan-friendly environment.
The first phase of the project, which focused on upgrading the VIP wing, commenced in 2021 under the supervision of Sarjan Construction and laid the foundation for the current stage of expansion.
Once completed, the upgraded Omondi Stadium will stand as a testament to KCCA FC’s commitment to improving football infrastructure and enhancing matchday experiences for supporters and players alike.
