After sealing his transfer to Tanzania Premier League giants Simba SC from Kenya Police FC, Kenya midfielder Mohammed Bajaber has linked up with the rest of the squad in Egypt ahead of their pre-season camp.
The Harambee Stars youngster, who left camp in a huff with only a few days left before the African Nations Championship (CHAN) kicked off, signed a two-year contract to join the Msimbazi Reds ahead of the new season.
Simba Media Officer Ahmed Ally has confirmed the arrival of Bajaber in Ismailia, Egypt. “We have all our new signings around, including Bajaber, who just joined us a day ago,” said Ally.
This marks the second consecutive year that Simba have chosen the Egyptian city as their pre-season destination, reflecting their commitment to high-level preparations for both domestic and continental competitions.
The camp is led by head coach Fadlu Davids, who will use this crucial period to strengthen the squad ahead of a demanding season that includes the CAF Champions League, the Mainland Premier League, and local competitions such as the Federation Cup and Community Shield.
Simba’s training camp in Egypt is scheduled to run for approximately 28 days.
