Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League champions have continued to freshen up their squad with the exit of three more players ahead of the new season.
The latest to exit the door include former Gor Mahia and Simba SC of Tanzania midfielder Francis Kahata, midfielder Tim Oyanda, and Tyson Otieno.
Confirming the exit of Kahata, Police said: “A calm presence, technically gifted, and a respected figure in the dressing room. Francis Kahata’s time with us has come to a close. We’re grateful for his contribution and wish him the very best in the next chapter of his career.”
On Oyanda, the club wrote: “Midfielder Tim Oyanda has left the club after spending the second phase of last season with us. He departs as a league winner, and we wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career.”
Meanwhile, on the departure of Tyson Otieno, the law enforcers said: “After two memorable seasons, Tyson Otieno’s journey with us comes to an end. A skillful midfielder, Tyson dazzled with his creativity and finesse, leaving a mark on fans and rivals alike. Thank you for the moments and memories. Wishing you success in your next chapter.”
Before the release of the aforementioned, Police had already confirmed the departure of striker Jesse Were, Kenneth Muguna, and Duncan Otieno. Police are beefing up their squad in readiness to defend their league title and participate in the CAF Champions League.
