Zimbabwe star winger Khama Billiat has said he is filled with emotions after penning a two-year deal with the country’s newcomers Scottland FC.

The former Ajax Cape Town attacker has spoken for the first time after completing a switch from Yahad FC to Scottland FC.

“I am filled with mixed emotions of gratitude and hope for the future. Above all, let us make it a season to remember,” he said.

The 34-year-old was a man in demand after the end of his one-year contract with Yadah with clubs in Zimbabwe and South Africa said to be interested. However, the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns player opted for a very competitive Scottland offer.

The newcomers have since taken Zimbabwe transfer market by storm after signing two others stars Castle Lager Premier League Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona and now Mbongeni Minezhi.

The top striker Minezhi has joined the Northern Region Soccer League champions on a four-year deal from Bulawayo City where he scored 17 goals last season. Minenzhi, scorer of 17 goals for Bulawayo City last season, has inked a four-year deal with the Northern Region Soccer League champions.

“This signing is part of Scottland's efforts to build a strong squad for the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season,” Scotland said in a statement.
