After a memorable season in Tunisia’s Ligue 1 and the Tunisian Cup, Chokri Khotoui has seen his contract at Stade Tunisien renewed. The club confirmed he will remain in charge for another season.
Khotoui took over ahead of the 2024/25 season, as Maher Kenzari left to join heavyweights Espérance de Tunis. The club finished sixth in the league with 49 points, and reached the Tunisian Cup final, where they lost to Espérance. Thanks to his strong performance at the helm, the head coach earned the board’s backing to continue for another season.
According to La Presse, Stade Tunisien spokesperson Badreddine Nacef revealed that the contract renewal came after trust was bestowed on the coach to continue his work. “The management deemed it appropriate to consolidate this work while maintaining stability within the coaching staff.”
The club will represent the North African nation in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup, and Khotoui will be focusing on strengthening his squad for the continental tournament.
