Home-based striker Konrad Nfanseu says he is ready to hit the ground running when given the chance by Cameroon head coach David Pagou.
The attacker was part of the four domestic players invited into the 26-man Cameroon squad for their FIFA international window this month.

The AS Panthère du Nde forward alongside Mael Fernandez Monyebe of Gazelle FA, AS Fortuna’s Serge Ndzomo Eloundou and Housseini Ousmanou also of Gazelle FA are the four new faces from Cameroon’s Championship, the MTN Elite One.
Konrad Nfanseu took some time off the team’s training in Australia to speak to the media outlet of the Indomitable Lions.
“It’s a pleasure, a dream come true. At today’s training, there was intensity, desire, and we followed the coach’s tactical instructions.
“He [coach David Pagou] also asked us to bring a lot of intensity, and it ended on a joyful note.
“So the atmosphere in the team is great. Like any good footballer, my goal is to perform and earn the coach’s trust.
“So I’ll give my all because we all here want to play. And I won’t miss my chance to seize the opportunity.”
The five time African champions missed out on qualifying for the FIFA World Cup and will take advantage of this international games to shape up for future competitions.
The Indomitable Lions arrived in Sydney on March 23 to prepare for their matches against Australia on March 27 and China on March 31.
Nfanseu was among the first players to join the training camp for the FIFA Series which assembles teams from different confederations.
Konrad Nfanseu’s participation in this series represents a significant opportunity for the young striker to demonstrate his potential on the international stage and establish himself permanently within the Indomitable Lions.
