Belgian club KRC Genk are open to a move for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare ahead of the summer transfer window.

This season, Arokodare has been remarkable for Genk, scoring 22 goals and providing 7 assists in 43 matches. His impact was a driving force in Genk's title race, which lasted until a dip in the playoffs saw them slip to third place. His fine season has not gone unnoticed. Arokodare won the Belgian Pro League's Best African Player award, the 2025 Ebony Shoe.

His performance has attracted the attention of several clubs across Europe as they look to secure his services ahead of the new season. However, according to the Belgian press, Genk are reportedly willing to let their striker leave, capitalizing on his rapidly rising market value.

With offers likely to arrive, Genk plan to use the sale to invest in young players with high potential, continuing their tradition of developing future stars.
