Kwabena Owusu: Turkish second-tier Sakaryaspor sign Ghana winger

Turkish second tier side Sakaryaspor have made an important inclusion into their squad with the signing of Ghana international Kwabena Owusu.

The 28-year-old winger signs a deal for Sakaryaspor who are battling to escape relegation in the Turkish 1 Lig as they sit 18th with 23 points from 23 games.

Owusu brings rich CV, having played in Spain

Before joining Sakaryaspor, Owusu was a key figure at Israeli side Maccabi Bnei Reina, where he featured in 15 matches with two goals.

The experienced Ghanaian brings a rich CV, having played in Spain, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Turkey, and Israel for clubs like Toledo, Real Oviedo, Cartagena, Salmantino, Qarabag, Cordoba, MKE Ankaragucu Ferencvaros, and Maccabi Bnei Reina.

Owusu, who started his career with SC Accra, is capped five times with Ghana’s U23 and four times with the senior side.
