Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri is confident that midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has the quality to cause problems for any defense in the Italian Serie A.
The Italian tactician made this known following the Nigerian international’s brilliant display against Atalanta in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal on Wednesday. The match saw the Super Eagles star net a goal as the club from the capital played out a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico.

Reacting to the performance in comments reported by Pazzi Di Fanta, Sarri praised the Super Eagle’s blistering speed but noted that he and I Biancocelesti need to find more consistency.
“Dele-Bashiru can cause problems for anyone, when he manages to launch himself forward he can reach speeds of 36 km/h.
We’re pleased with our performance because, in a difficult moment, we put in a high-level performance against a strong team. We’ll go to Bergamo to play for qualification, and if we play a game like tonight’s, we can do it. The team occasionally shows signs of competitiveness , but we need more consistency.”
The former Manchester City and Sheffield Wednesday player has become an increasingly important part of the rotation this season after struggling with injury during the first half of the campaign. Wednesday’s goal was his first of the campaign.
