ZESCO United goalkeeper Levis Opiyo says he hopes to keep more clean-sheets for the Zambian side.
He said this after helping the ABSA Cup kings to beat Zamalek SC 1-0 in a CAF Confederation Cup Group D match at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia, on Sunday.

Reflecting on the clean sheet he kept in his only second appearance for United, the 30-year-old said he hoped it was the beginning of good things to come.
“Of course, that is what a keeper is supposed to do. That is my job. I am hoping that if God blesses me more, I am going to get more clean sheets,” Opiyo said.
The former AFC Leopards custodian said the victory over the Egyptian Premier League giants was long overdue.
“I thank God for the clean sheet. It is something that has been coming. We have been playing well, but we could concede after one mistake. Overall, we have been playing well,” he said.
Opiyo then gave an update on life off the field of play in Zambia, saying people in the Southern African country were helping him to find his feet.
“Zambia is similar to my country, Kenya. People are very welcoming and very humble, so I find it suitable,” he added.
The Kenyan made his debut for the power men the previous week when they lost 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs in Durban.
United signed the former Bandari FC shot-stopper to replace Toaster Nsabata who signed for South African club Sekhukhune United recently.
