Dates confirmed: Draw relocates Libyan Cup Final and Super Cup to Egypt

The Libyan Football Federation’s Competitions Committee has officially announced that both the Libyan Cup Final and the Libyan Super Cup will be held in Egypt, following the draw involving choices of Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Ahli Benghazi.

Libya held a draw to determine the host country for both the Cup Final and the Super Cup. Al-Ahli Tripoli chose Tunisia, while Al-Ahli Benghazi preferred Egypt, before the draw revealed Egypt as the host country.

The 2024–2025 Libyan Cup Final and Super Cup will feature a highly anticipated derby showdown between Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Ahli Benghazi.

According to the circular issued on 26 November 2025, the matches will take place as follows:

  • Wednesday, 3 December 2025: Libya Cup Final

  • Sunday, 7 December 2025: Libyan Super Cup

The committee stated that the final kickoff times and the stadium in Egypt will be announced later, pending completion of organizational procedures and coordination with the relevant authorities in Egypt to ensure full logistical and technical readiness.
