Libyan Premier League draw revealed: 4 groups and 36 teams

The Libyan Football Federation conducted the official draw for the 52nd edition of the Libyan Premier League for the 2025–2026 season, with a total of 36 clubs participating. The teams were divided into four groups, featuring 19 clubs in the Zone 1 and 17 clubs in the Zone 2.

The competition, known locally as “Dawrina”, will kick off in December 2025, replacing the previously scheduled start date of October 30.

Group 1 (10 Teams)

The group includes: Al-Zahra, Al-Malaab Al-Libi, Abu Salim, Al-Madina, Al-Ahly Tripoli, Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Watan, Al-Swehli, Al-Sabah, Al-Khums.

Matchday 1 Fixtures:

• Al-Sabah vs Al-Malaab Al-Libi

• Al-Zahra vs Al-Khums

• Al-Watan vs Al-Madina

• Abu Salim vs Al-Swehli

• Al-Ahly Tripoli vs Al-Qadisiyah

Group 2 (9 Teams)

The group consists of: Al-Tarasana, Shabab Al-Ghar, Al-Majd, Al-Ittihad, Ittihad Gharyan, Al-Olympi, Al-Ittihad Al-Misrati, Al-Shomou’, Abi Al-Ashhar.

Matchday 1 Fixtures:

• Al-Ittihad Al-Misrati vs Al-Tarasana

• Abi Al-Ashhar vs Al-Olympi

• Ittihad Gharyan vs Shabab Al-Ghar

• Al-Majd vs Al-Ittihad

Al-Shomou’ will have a bye week.

Group 3 (9 Teams)

The group features: Al-Ittihad Al-Askari, Al-Taawoun, Al-Brooq, Al-Hilal, Al-Ahly Benghazi, Al-Anwar, Darnes, Al-Sadaqa, Al-Suqour.

• Al-Taawoun vs Al-Suqour

• Al-Sadaqa vs Al-Brooq

• Al-Hilal vs Darnes

• Al-Anwar vs Al-Ahly Benghazi

Al-Ittihad Al-Askari is off on Matchday 1.

The group includes: Wifaq Ajdabiya, Khaleej Sirte, Al-Tahaddi, Al-Nasr, Al-Murouj, Al-Afriki, Al-Akhdar, Al-Andalus.
