Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans (Yanga SC) head coach Sead Ramovic has been named the December coach of the month in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Yanga striker Clement Mzize was voted the Premier League’s Player of the Month for December for the year 2024/25 season.
The German tactician achieved the fete following a stellar performance that saw Yanga manage four straight league wins from four matches, score 16 goals and concede only two.
During the run in December, Yanga started off with a 3-2 win against Mashujaa, hammered Tanzania Prisons 4-0, and humiliated Dodoma Jiji 4-0 before registering a resounding 5-0 win against Singida Big Stars.
The good run came at a time when Yanga was participating in the Caf Champions League where in the same month, they lost their Group A opener 2-0 defeat against Al Hilal at home, and drew 1-1 against TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi.
