Updated: 4 days ago

TP Mazembe celebrate a goal in the Linafoot

Four teams are level on nineteen points following Saturday's action from DR Congo's Linafoot. DC Motema Pembe and TP Mazembe each earned victories to move level with Aigles du Congo and AS Maniema Union as the Championship stage approaches the halfway point.

Highlights of DCMP's victory over Anges Verts.

Bingi Belo Chadrack scored the only goal for DCMP in their 1-0 victory against last placed Anges Verts. The forward struck after a moment of disaster for the Anges Verts goalkeeper, who slipped as he attempted to play the ball outside his penalty area which left Belo with an easy finish into an empty net.

After a poor first half of the season that almost saw them miss out on qualification for the Championship stage, Les Immaculés are now in contention with four consecutive victories.

TP Mazembe held off AS Simba in the other match on Saturday, earning a 2-1 victory to make it three victories on the run for the Ravens. Niger national team attacker Ousseini Badamassi provided the match winner after Simba leveled early in the second half.
