In the only match from Tuesday in the Congolese top flight Linafoot, TP Mazembe and AS Simba played to a 1-1 draw in a regional derby that ended under tense conditions.
Senegalese goalkeeper Marc Diouf converted from the penalty spot to save a point for Mazembe at the Stade Dominique Diur in Kolwezi. Jacques Mangoba opened the scoring just before halftime for hosts AS Simba on a well struck free kick.
The match from the group based around Lubumbashi ended in heated fashion, with supporters storming onto the pitch to confront the referee who awarded the late penalty kick. The police responded with tear gas to move the angry Simba supporters off the pitch.
The Linafoot released a statement after the match, indicating that the result of the match will be suspended pending an examination of the post-match report. If the result stands, Simba remain a point ahead of the Ravens in fifth place on eight points.

The clash was the only match that was played according to plan on Tuesday. AS Maniema Union was set to take on AC Rangers in the only match from the Kinshasa based group at the Stade Joseph Kabila. However, the match was suspended until Wednesday due to travel delays which caused Rangers to arrive late.
Over the previous couple of days, CS Don Bosco, Lubumbashi Sport and FC Tanganyika were among the winners from the Lubumbashi group. Lubumbashi Sport and Don Bosco both moved into the top-5 on the table with each achieving 1-0 victories on Monday.
In the Kinshasa group, AS Vita Club are the indisputed leaders after a 1-0 victory over Dauphins Noirs on Sunday. Exaucé Kabeya Kanyinda’s composed strike made the difference for VClub, who are setting an excellent pace with sixteen points from their six matches.
AC Rangers can still catch up with games in hand while historically powerful sides DC Motema Pembe (eight points from five matches) and Maniema Union (four points from four matches) are off to poor starts.
