Nigeria international Ademola Lookman scored his 13th goal of the season as Atalanta white-washed Juventus 4-0 in a Serie A fixture at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
Atalanta took only 29 minutes to take the lead when Mateo Retegui found the back of the net past Michele Di Gregorio. The visiting side led 1-0 at the half-time break and a minute after the restart they went 2-0 up courtesy of Marten de Roon.
It was 3-0 in the 66th minute when Davide Zappacosta scored before Lookman sealed the dominant victory with the fourth goal of the night in the 77th minute, capping off a brilliant display from Atalanta.
With this win, Atalanta moved just three points behind league leaders Inter Milan. They have garnered 58 points from 28 matches. So far this season, the Super Eagles star has featured in 22 Serie A matches, scored 13 goals and provided five assists.
Atalanta will have the opportunity to move level on points with Inter at the summit when they host the log leaders at Gewiss Stadium on Sunday, March 16.
