Zambia national team interim coach George Lwandamina has unveiled his 38-member provisional squad for the Four Nations Tournament set for Francistown, Botswana from March 23-31.
Lwandamina, who took charge to replace Moses Sihcone, has summoned 15 foreign-based players with Scotland-based Chanka Zimba and fit-again Kingstone Mutandwa drafted in the squad.
Here’s the prelim squad for Zambia 🇿🇲 for the 4 Nations Tournament.

Zimba has been on the radar of Chipolopolo handlers for a while and will be expected to make his debut after completing the naturalisation process to be eligible to don Chipolopolo colours joining the likes of Frankie Musonda and Jack Lahne.
Lwandamina has fused in some standout performers from the Under-17 FIFA World Cup Qatar 2025 tournament led by skipper Jonathan Kalimina, Abel Nyirongo and goalie Christo Chitambala to signal his faith in youth.
The 2007 U-20 FIFA World Cup coach has retained faith in some seasoned campaigners, who were at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, among them Patson Daka, Fashion Sakala, Lubambo Musonda, Willard Mwanza, Dominic Chanda, Wilson Chisala, David Hamansenya and Mathews Banda.
There is respectable representation from the local league with golden boot chasing Albert Kangwanda, who has scored 10 goals so far making the cut alongside many top league performers.
The squad is expected to be trimmed to 26 prior to departure for Francistown where Zambia will compete with Botswana, Zimbabwe and Malawi in a tournament dubbed Kings of the South showdown.
Zambia is using the tournament to prepare for qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations which kickoff in September. Qualifiers for the Kenya-Tanzania-Uganda AFCON 2027 will take place rapid succession from September-November.
