Burnley’s African contingent played a key role in a thrilling 3–2 away victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, sealing a dramatic win at Molineux on Sunday.

The visitors struck twice in quick succession through Zian Flemming, who netted in the 14th and 30th minutes, giving Burnley a commanding first-half lead.

Wolves managed to fight back before halftime. First, Jørgen Strand Larsen converted a 42nd-minute penalty, before Zimbabwean striker Marshall Munetsi leveled the score in the fourth minute of added time with a header, making it 2–2 at the break.

The drama continued deep into stoppage time, when Hannibal Mejbri — the Tunisian midfielder — produced an assist for his South African teammate Lyle Foster, who finished with exceptional finish in the 95th minute to secure all three points for Burnley.

With this result, Wolves remain bottom of the table on just two points, still searching for their first win of the season, while Burnley move up to 16th with 10 points, five points clear of the relegation zone.
