Head coach of the Indomitable Lions, David Pagou included Konrad Nfanseu of Panthère du Nde,

AS Fortuna’s Serge Ndzomo Eloundou and Housseini Ousmanou also of Gazelle FA.

Monyebe, 19, expressed positive emotions about his first call up to represent the five time African champions.

“I’m very emotional because I’ve met a lot of big brothers that I watched during the CAN.

“I got to admire their play, and today, I tried not to be stressed because we’re going to have to pull ourselves together to face the two opposing teams.

“The session had a lot of intensity. We didn’t run too much, but in the play, there was intensity in the movements and it was much more fluid.

“I’m always going to give my best and show my qualities to the world in the hope that my qualities will help the team win this double confrontation.”

Cameroon have two international fixtures against Australia and China this month.

The friendlies will be used to assess most of the players to prepare for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations after missing out on qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
