Nyoni: Simba SC FC media
Former Simba SC winger Duncan Nyoni has parted ways with deposed Malawi league champions Silver Strikers.
The burstling forward has ended his stay with the 2024 TNM Super League winners having arrived in 2016 from Civil Service United.
In a statement, Silver Strikers expressed their appreciation for the services Nyoni rendered to the team.
Eight years. Countless memories. Thank you, Duncan Nyoni!🫡

“The enterprising midfielder had his glory days with the club winning the inaugural Airtel Top in 2017 and again in 2019. Nyoni also won the TNM Super League in 2024,” the statement reads.
“Silver Strikers Company Limited is thankful for the services rendered to the club and wishes him all the success in his future endeavors.”
The 28-year-old rejoined the Lilongwe-based side barely months after a stint with Simba SC in neighbouring Tanzania in 2021.
Nyoni has struggled for game- time at Silver Strikers with coach Peter Mgangira and his predecessor Peter Mponda preferring younger players such as Zebron Kalima.
