Malawian striker Khuda Muyaba has explained how he hopes to improve playing alongside Khama Billiat at Scottland FC in Zimbabwe.
The Castle Lager Premier League rookies signed the discarded Flames forward last week and handed him a debut over the weekend when he shared the field with the former Kaizer Chiefs attacker.
Muyaba came on as a second-half substitute as the newcomers beat hosts Ngezi Platinum FC on Saturday to remain in fourth place, eight points behind leaders Simba Bhora.
Following his debut in a squad with stars, including Walter Musona, the Malawian singled out Billiat’s impact on the game.
“It’s an honour to play in the same team with big player Khama Billiat king. More goals to score inshallah,” Muyaba wrote on his Facebook account.
“We thank God for the victory. Three points in the bag. The 30 minutes I played were an amazing feeling on my debut. We focus on our next match."
The former Kaizer Chiefs star moved to Scottland at the end of his one-year contract with Yadah FC last December.
The Warriors’ winger revived his career after signing for Yadah FC mid-last year following his exit from South Africa, where he passed up an opportunity to renew his romance with the Glamour Boys.
The wide midfielder was influential in helping the Warriors return to the continental football showpiece after grabbing an assist in the decisive one-all draw with Kenya’s Harambee Stars in November 2024.
