Malaysia club Negeri Sembilan fc sign experienced Ghana forward Joseph Esso

Experienced Ghana Premier League forward, Joseph Esso has joined Malaysian top flight side, Negeri Sembilan FC ahead of next season’s Super League campaign.

Esso, 28, moves to the Southeast Asian nation after a wealthy experience in the Ghana Premier League where he featured for Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC.

He had a spell in Algeria with MC Alger where he scored 11 times in 66 appearances in all competitions before a return to Dreams fc. He was a key figure in Dreams fc’ relegation battle last season where they managed to climb into 6th with 52 points.

His 11 goals in 32 league matches for the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup semi finalists caught the eyes of Negeri Sembilan FC who have snapped him up for next season.

Josep Esso played a role in Ghana’s 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations tournament where the Black Galaxies lost 3-1 on penalty shootouts to Senegal after the entire encounter over 120 minutes ended 1-1.
