United States Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids have officially announced the signing of Mamadou Billo Diop to their first team.
The young Senegalese striker’s new contract runs through the 2027-2028 season, with options to extend to the 2029-2030 campaign.

Selected in the first round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, the 19-year-old Boune born continues his rise within the American club.
Prior to this promotion, the striker played with the club’s reserve team, Colorado Rapids 2, in MLS NEXT Pro.
The 2025 season marked a real turning point for the young Senegalese player where he scored 14 goals and providing 2 assists.
His performances earned him the title of Rapids 2’s best player as well as the club’s Golden Boot.
His performances helped the American team reach the Western Conference Final and compete in its first MLS NEXT Pro Cup Final.
Before joining the Colorado organization, Mamadou Billo Diop continued his development in the United States at DME Academy in Florida, after beginning his football career in Senegal with Sahel Atlantic Football Club.
