Senegalese duo Sadio Mané and Habib Diallo scored in action from Week 25 of the Saudi Pro League on Friday as Al Nassr and Damac emerged victorious. Al Nassr beat Al Kholood by a 3-1 score whilst Damac conquered high flying Al Qadisiya. Both players received a call up for the Senegalese national team for upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Influential Teranga Lions forward Mané ended his four-game goal drought in Al Nassr’s win over Al Kholood. The Riyadh club scored trice in the first half to keep their title hopes alive. Mané scored the second with a tap in after a good combination play from Cristiano Ronaldo and Salem Al Najdi in the 26th minute. Ronaldo and Jhon Duran got the other goals.
Congolese forward Jackson Muleka thought to have scored in the second half for the visitors but his shot was deflected in by Al Nassr’s Ali Lajami. Mané has bagged seven league goals this season as he prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying games with strong form for his club.
Former Strasbourg striker Diallo converted a late penalty as Damac won a dramatic tie against Al Qadisiya. Diallo bagged his seventh of the season from the penalty spot.
Al Nassr moved to third with 51 points, 10 points behind leaders Al Ittihad. Damac sit 12th with 27 points.
