Video: Mbeumo and Diallo continue to shine as Manchester United draw 2-2 away vs Tottenham

The influence of African players in the Premier League continues to grow, and Manchester United’s Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo are perfect examples of that. Both players once again showcased their quality and connection on the pitch, playing key roles in a dramatic 2-2 draw against Tottenham.

Tottenham and Manchester United shared the spoils in a thrilling encounter in Matchweek 11 of the Premier League.

Cameroonian forward Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring for Manchester United in the 32nd minute after the Ivorian winger Amad Diallo delivered a superb cross that Bryan met with a header into the back of the net.

The two African stars continued their impressive chemistry, having previously combined for a goal against Liverpool in Matchweek 8.

Despite their strong start, United failed to keep their lead intact. Tottenham equalized in the 84th minute through Mathys Tel, before Richarlison completed the turnaround with a goal in stoppage time (90+1’).

However, United fought back before the final whistle, with Matthijs de Ligt scoring a dramatic equalizer in the 90+6 minute to salvage a point for the visitors.

Mbeumo’s goal takes his tally to five Premier League goals this season, while Diallo now has three assists, underlining their influence in Manchester United’s attack and their importance as standout African talents in the English topflight.
