Bryan Mbeumo’s early contributions were acknowledged by Manchester United with two monthly accolades in the first month of his debut season. The Cameroon attacker was voted Player of the Month for August and also won Goal of the Month.

Mbeumo joined United from Brentford and has impressed since then. He started all four games this season, scoring two goals. The 26-year-old winger received 55% of the fans’ vote to earn his first award at Manchester United, beating center-backs Leny Yoro and Matthijs De Ligt.
His goal against Burnley in the Premier League round earned him the Goal of the Month accolade. Mbeumo helped United secure their first maximum points of the season by scoring in a 3-2 win a week ago.

Mbeumo was instrumental when Cameroon beat Eswatini 3-0 at home in the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Qualifier, as he assisted Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s goal. He is expected to start the decisive qualifier game against Cape Verde on matchday eight.
