Mouloudia Club d'Alger has denied rumors that the club is banned from registering new signings during the current winter transfer window.
Over the past few days, speculation arose suggesting that the team was restricted from making transfers due to outstanding debts. However, the club's management reassured fans that MC Alger can register new players without any issues during this transfer period.
The club released an official statement addressing the matter, which read:
"The management of Mouloudia Algiers reassures the loyal supporters of the team that the list of clubs banned from recruitment during the current winter transfer window does not include the name 'Le Doyen'. The issue in question was related to the situation of the team’s former player, Aymen Rahmani, who has received the funds he was owed for some time. Therefore, the management confirms that Mouloudia is not prohibited from signing players and can register new recruits during the ongoing transfer period."
MCA is currently participating in the CAF Champions League this season and has successfully advanced to the quarterfinals of the competition as runners-up in Group A.
