Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko says his charges are ready to take the fight to Heart of Lions in their week 16 Ghana Premier League fixture on Saturday.
The Mauve and Yellow are away in Kpando for a nerve-wracking encounter against the 7th placed Heart of Lions, a fixture Ibrahim Tanko describes as difficult.
“Before the game we know it’s not going to be easy looking at the games they played before meeting us but like I say in the premier league there is no easy game, all the games are very tough so we leave this point [against Holy Stars] here and I think the league is still on so definitely we are preparing for the next game,” Ibrahim Tanko told MEDi TV.
“Like any other game, I always say, the premier league [games] are all the same whether playing against Heart of Lions or playing against Basake Holy Stars it’s the same. So we are preparing like any other game and hope that we are going to have a very good game at Kpando.
“Of course we don’t want to lose, we are going there to pick a point and if possible to take all the three points so it’s not going to be easy playing against a good side in their home ground but I am the boys are ready to also take the fight on.”
Medeama share second spot with Asante Kotoko on 27 points, one behind leaders Aduana and four away from Heart of Lions who sit 7th on the league table with 23 points same as Karela United from 15 matches.
