Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams says he is ready to play for Ghana’s senior team if he is invited by head coach Otto Addo.
The 23-year-old has been in some swashbuckling form for the Mauve and Yellow since joining them on a free transfer after leaving Hearts of Oak.

His 19 games with five goals haul has propelled Medeama to the summit of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League table with 44 points, five above Hearts of Oak and reigning champions GoldStars after 22 matches.
Ahead of Medeama’s week 23 Ghana Premier League fixture at Samartex, Salim Adams shared some words on his blistering performance and national team readiness.
“I think it’s very positive for me [and] this shows I’ve been doing very well so I have to keep pushing,” Salim Adams told MEDi TV.
When asked about his readiness if called up by head coach Otto Addo, the former Hearts of Oak midfielder expressed full confidence
“I am one hundred percent ready.
“It’s all about being in a good environment and having teammates who believe that you know what you can do so I think my teammates are part of everything that I am doing.”
Ghana has lined up three international friendlies against European power house Germany, Austria and North Americans Mexico and Salim Adams will look to break into the squad in order to convince coach Otto Addo.
He was a member of Ghana’s home based squad that lost 1-0 to South Africa in Bafana Bafana’s pre-2025 Africa Cup of Nations warm up game.
Salim Adams started off at now Division One side New Edubiase and then a move to Hearts of Oak where he won the league and the FA Cup in the 2020/21 season.
He transferred to FC Cincinnati II in the United States before returning to Hearts of Oak and later Medeama after the expiration of his contract.
