Mohamed Kouki replaces Dridi as head coach at CS Sfaxien

Tunisian side CS Sfaxien has named Mohamed Kouki as their new coach. The Sfax club had been without a coach following the departure of Lassaad Dridi to Étoile du Sahel.

Kouki, 50, returns to Sfaxien after a previous stint in 2024. The Tunisian coach has experience coaching in both Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. His last club was the Saudi side Al-Tai, who he led to a 7th place finish in the Saudi second tier this past season.

Kouki led Sfaxien to a third-place finish in 2024, helping them qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.

CS Sfaxien is currently facing financial struggles. Their fundraising campaign has yet to produce much support but they hope to return to their glory days in the 2025/26 league season after a couple of disastrous campaigns.
