Mouandilmadji Marius scored twice and helped Samsunspor hold onto their lead at the top of the UEFA Conference League standings by scoring twice in a 2–2 draw away to Icelandic side Breidablik on League phase Matchday 4.
The match at Laugardalsvöllur Stadium opened with early drama, as Breidablik took the lead in the 6th minute through David Ingvarsson. Samsunspor, however, responded quickly.
In the 20th minute, Marius Mouandilmadji broke through between two defenders and fired into the net to level the score.
The Chadian striker struck again in the 55th minute, scoring with a similar move to give Samsunspor a 2–1 advantage and complete his brace.
Breidablik refused to give in, equalising in the 72nd minute through Kristofer Kristinsson.
Neither team managed to find a winner in the remaining time, and the contest ended in a 2–2 draw.
With this result, Samsunspor move to 10 points, maintaining first place in the UEFA Conference League League phase. Breidablik increase their tally to 2 points.
