Bundesliga outfit FC Schalke 04 confirmed the arrival of Senegal defender Moussa Ndiaye on loan from RSC Anderlecht for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
The left-footer star arrived to strengthen Schalke’s options on the left side of their defence and will wear the number 16 shirt for the Royal Blues.
Confirming Ndiaye’s acquisition, Schalke director of professional football Youri Mulder, said: “It was important for us to have more depth on the left side of our defence.

“In Moussa, we’ve signed a player for that position who can play a high-intensity style of football. He made it clear in our talks that he’s really excited for this challenge.”
Ndiaye revealed his readiness to get started with Schalke. He told the club website: “I can’t wait to start training with the team. The side play football at a very high intensity and that suits me.
“I want to get stuck in right away and help make it a successful season for the team and the fans.”
Born in Senegal, N’Diaye moved to Europe in the summer of 2020 to join FC Barcelona’s U19s. After a spell with the Catalans’ reserve side, the left-back joined RSC Anderlecht in 2022.
The 23-year-old made 102 appearances for the Belgian club, scoring twice and setting up six more goals.
