“Algeria is one of the great nations of African football. It will be a very good match. We are going to prepare well to play a big game. We know it will be complicated, but we will do what is necessary to beat them.”

This DR Congo side has been growing in confidence following positive results at AFCON. They beat Benin and Botswana and managed to salvage a point against Senegal. The 29-year-old midfielder added that Sébastien Desabre’s side has the squad depth to win any match. “It is a logical progression. No matter who is in the line-up, we know that the team will remain competitive.”
