MTN FUFA Awards: Nominees revealed for Uganda’s premier football honours

The excitement is building as the MTN FUFA Awards 2024 reveal their star-studded nominees at a brief press conference held at FUFA House, Mengo on Thursday afternoon.

This prestigious event, hosted annually by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), celebrates the top performers in Ugandan football recognizing exceptional talent, dedication and contribution to the beautiful game.

With the theme ‘Celebrating Football Heroes, Inspiring Future Stars,’ this year’s awards are set to shine a spotlight on both seasoned professionals and rising talents who are shaping Uganda's football future.

The grand event will take place on 30th May 2025 at the Kampala Serena Hotel and the nominees for each category have been carefully selected to reflect the very best in the sport.

Male Player of the Year Nominees:

Voting Information

Public voting for the MTN FUFA Awards 2024 will begin on Saturday, 24th May 2025. Fans will have the opportunity to vote via MTN USSD codes, which will be shared on the same day.
