Sani was on the books of former NPFL champions Rivers and parted ways with the Port Harcourt-based club following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2024-25 season.
He was not a regular player for Rivers United last season and played only six matches for the Port Harcourt side. Sani will be looking for a fresh start and more playing time as he is expected to be unveiled by the Ikon Allah boys before the start of the 2025/26 season.
Niger Tornadoes escaped relegation on the final day of last season.
Sani joined Rivers United from Kano Pillars after a strong 2023/2024 NPFL season which saw him make 35 appearance and net two goals, but he struggled to get playing time with Rivers United who finished second last season.
