Nigerian forward Muhamed Tijani has completed a season-long loan move to SK Sigma Olomouc from Slavia Prague, marking his second consecutive loan spell away from the Czech giants.
Tijani returns to the Czech topflight after a challenging loan stint at English Championship side Plymouth Argyle last season under then-manager Wayne Rooney.
While he showed early promise, his progress was curtailed by a long-term injury that sidelined him for much of the campaign.
Prior to the setback, he managed two goals and one assist in 13 appearances.
Tijani featured in Slavia Prague’s preseason preparations this summer and scored in a friendly against Hungarian side DVTK, signaling his return to full fitness.
The deal does not include a purchase option, and Tijani is expected to bolster Olomouc’s attacking line as they compete both domestically and in the UEFA Europa League playoff round.
His arrival at Sigma Olomouc is seen as reinforcement following the recent exits of Andres Dumitrescu and Simion Michez.
