The 25-year-old has spent the last three seasons on loan away from Slavia Prague, which included a stint with English club Plymouth Argyle during the 2024/25 season. Unfortunately, his time in England was cut short by a serious hamstring injury in late 2024.
He spent the first half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Sigma Olomouc. During his brief stay there, he made 13 league appearances with a goal but struggled to find consistent goal-scoring form, prompting Slavia Prague to seek a new environment for him in Hungary. The move is intended to ensure he receives the necessary playing time to rediscover his clinical edge.
Tijani was previously part of the Flying Eagles squad at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he scored once in four appearances for Nigeria.
