Kenya U17 national team head coach William Muluya has named his final 25-man squad set to represent the country at the upcoming U17 AFCON CECAFA Qualifiers, scheduled for November 15 to December 2, 2025, in Ethiopia.
The Junior Stars will compete in Group A alongside Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, and Rwanda, as they seek to secure one of two available slots for the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The squad features a mix of promising talents drawn from school teams, many of whom impressed during the recent regional scouting and training camps.
The team is expected to depart for Ethiopia on Monday. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the finalists earning CECAFA’s two tickets to the 2026 U17 AFCON.
The Junior Stars will open their campaign against Somalia on November 18, 2025, as they aim to start strong in their quest for continental qualification.
