Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi hads discussed the strength possessed by their rivals Mamelodi Sundowns which makes them better than his side in the Betway Premiership.

While the Brazilians are leading the 16-team league table with 54 points from 20 matches, Amakhosi are placed a distant eighth with 25 points from 19 matches.

The two sides have already faced off thrice this season with Sundowns winning all the matches. They met in the quarter-finals of Carling Black Label where Sundowns won 2-1, they beat Chiefs 4-1 in the first round of the league and sealed a double with a 1-0 win on Sunday.

According to the Tunisian coach, Sundowns have squad depth which most teams don’t have in the division and which always plays to their advantage during league matches.

“I feel like we have different players, different materials. They have a lot of midfielders, we have wingers that are [tricky], so we have different ideas and materials,” Nabi told reporters as quoted by FARPost. “The only thing I would like to have from what Sundowns have is the number of players that they have…depth in their squad.”

On their third defeat to Sundowns, Nabi said: ““It was a tactical game, it was like a chess game. And honestly, no, no [there’s nothing to copy from Sundowns game].”

While Sundowns will face Golden Arrows on Wednesday at Mpumalanga Stadium, Chiefs will return to action against Magesi FC at FNB Stadium on Tuesday.
