Crested Cranes utility player Phiona Nabulime has capped off a stellar start to her career abroad by winning the Egyptian Women's Premier League title with FC Masar.
Nabulime joined the Egyptian giants just three months ago as a direct replacement for Shadia Nankya, who departed for the USA. Since then, she has made an immediate impact, showcasing her versatility in both central defense and midfield roles.
FC Masar sealed the league crown with a 1-0 victory over Zamalek, a result that propelled them to 70 points, five clear of second-placed Al Ahly with one game left.
The team has posted staggering statistics this season, 119 goals scored, only six conceded and an unbeaten record.
The league triumph adds to Nabulime’s growing list of accolades, coming shortly after she lifted the 2023/24 FUFA Women Super League title with Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC back in Uganda as skipper.

FC Masar will wrap up their campaign this Friday against Al Ahly, determined to maintain their unbeaten streak. Attention will then shift to the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League, where they aim to build on last edition’s bronze medal finish.
