CAFCC: Nairobi United unveils Benson Omalla and new coach Godfrey Oduor
Kenyan Premier League outfit Nairobi United FC announed the signing of Harambee Stars striker Benson Omalla and the appointment of Godfrey Oduor Otieno as Head Coach.
Omalla, the 2023-2024 KPL Golden Boot winner with 19 goals, joined the “Naibois” to lead the attack as a free agent.
Oduor brings a wealth of experience from KCB
He is bolstered by the arrival of Coach Oduor, a CAF A license holder who joins from South Sudanese champions Jamus FC.
Oduor brings a wealth of experience from KCB FC, Nzoia FC, and the Kenya National youth teams and women National teams.
The duo’s first major test comes this Sunday, at Nyayo National Stadium, as Nairobi United faces Tanzania’s Azam FC in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The fixture will kick-off at 4pm Kenyan time.
