Nathan N’Goumou: Monchengladbach wingers make steady injury recovery

Cameroon international Nathan N’Goumou is making steady progress towards returning from an injury he sustained in April last year while playing for Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 25-year-old suffered a horrible Achilles tendon rupture on his right leg which initially ruled him out for the rest of the 2024-25 season.

Nathan N’Goumou has two caps for Cameroon

N’Goumou, who represented France at the youth level, has however made significant progress in his rehabilitation where he has been seen running and joining his teammates in training earlier in the year.

N’Goumou, who has two caps for the Indomitable Lions, joined Monchengladbach in 2022 from Toulouse signing a five-year contract.

The lanky winger has gone on to make 71 Bundesliga appearances with 8 goals and 33 assists.

Monchengladbach have posted a considerably average performance under manager Eugene Polanski where they sit in 12th with 25 points from 24 games.
