NEC FC have officially parted ways with head coach Hussein Mbalangu by mutual agreement, ending his tenure with the club effective immediately.
Mbalangu’s exit comes just weeks after his suspension over involvement in the Masaza Cup with Ssingo, which the club cited as divided loyalty.

The CAF A Licensed tactician joined NEC in 2023, guiding them to a second-place finish in their debut Uganda Premier League season and a Stanbic Uganda Cup final appearance in 2024.
NEC have swiftly appointed Kaddu Badru Mukasa as the new head coach. The former Express FC tactician, known for his tactical discipline and data-driven approach, officially takes charge on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Kaddu, who previously worked with KCCA FC as an assistant coach and heads KB Analytics, brings a modern blend of football analysis and coaching experience.
His immediate task will be to stabilise the squad and set the tone for a stronger second half of the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League campaign.
